Thanks to Janae at JanaesJewels, I have another fabulous giveaway to present to you all. Janae is one of many wonderful jewelry artists that can be found in our etsy community. In her shop you will find a wide variety of pieces from classic stylish beaded pieces to set gemstone jewelry in nearly any type of metal you could want including gold. She is a very talented artist and I am sure that you will be able to find a wonderful piece of jewelry that you just can't do without in her lovely shop.

Janae has been gracious enough to donate a gorgeous genuine pink tourmaline ring for our giveaway. The ring has a 6x5mm oval Deep Pink Tourmaline center stone flanked on either side by small 1mm White Sapphires. The overall gram weight is 1.5 grams. The stones have been hand set by Janae, in a sterling silver band. The ring is a US size 7.

I couldn't have asked for a more appropriate donation to kickoff the giveaway for the month of October. The gemstone Pink Tourmaline is one of the official birthstones for October as adopted by the American National Association of Jewelers in 1912 (opal is also a traditional October birthstone). It is also the stone for the Zodiac sign of Leo, and the accepted gem for the 8th wedding anniversary. In addition, October is national Breast Cancer Awareness month and as we all know pink is the adopted color for the breast cancer awareness campaign. So in addition to the fact that this ring is absolutely beautiful there are many other reasons to consider entering this giveaway. It would make a wonderful gift for the October birthday girl or breast cancer survivor in your life. Just imagine how delighted they would be to get this as a gift.
